We're celebrating our 10th ANNIVERSARY
this fall at Saunders Farm in Garrison, NY!
Saunders Farm is located on Old Albany Post Road, the historic earthen highway of the original route between New York City and Albany. The property begins with rolling pastures and culminates on a majestic ridge with 360-degree views of the Hudson Highlands. Black Angus cattle roam free. Sites for art range from intimate woody glens to open fields and dramatic vast expanses defined by stone walls.
Richard and I are honored to be participating artists in the fall outdoor sculpture exhibition on Saunders Farm in Garrison, NY. I'm currently, mosaicking a life-sized dairy cow. So excited. Will post WIP photos.
"Eden" will be featured as part of the Studio Montclair and Greenwood Gardens outdoor sculpture exhibition "Art in the Garden" August 3-October 31, 2014.
So excited to have found such an amazingly talented photographer to work with. There is a beauty and grace in Richard's approach to cutting. Jeremy Tressler was able to break through the grittiness of the junk yard environment; capturing the pure essence of the steel itself. The resulting photographs are simply awesome.

Richard's Salvaged Bridge I-Beam Steel Sculpture "Eden" will be featured as part of Studio Montclair's 2014 summer garden show collaboration with Greenwood Gardens.
Seeing Richard's work in nature is quite a contrast considering where it's created. The juxtaposition between viewing the steel trees in the junk yard studio versus grass and open sky is remarkable.
