OUT OF BOUNDS: FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION EXHIBITION INTERVIEW WITH ARTISTS:
ANTHONY E. BOONE & NOEL DONALDSON
Excited to be working with Amos White V and AFTV again! I had the wonderful opportunity to host AFTV's Episode: 51: Out of Bounds at the Manhattan Neighborhood Network studios. Anthony E. Boone and Noel Donaldson are two deeply creative visionary artists. The interview was insightful and engaging for artists in all stages of professional development. Thank you, Amos and the MNN crew for a wonderful taping!

When the opportunity to curate my first exhibition was presented to me; I set about reaching out to those artists whose works and lives I admired. I discovered Sue Kreitzman and her works through my love for outsider art. Sue's outrageous creativity captivated me. I was so curious about her. And I was compelled to reach out to her, even though she lived in London and she didn't know me from a can of paint! I wrote Sue Kreitzman a letter telling her about the exhibition I was curating and about myself. I asked Sue if she would allow me to show one or two of her beautiful kimonos or necklaces. Well, I was bowled-over when Sue Kreitzman replied to me two weeks later. Sue responded, "I'd love to do your show! I'm coming home to New York City for the holidays. I'd like to invite you to my studio; then we can talk about what will go best in the exhibition." From there, a whirlwind of creativity, art, connection and the abundant warmth of a new friendship began. Words cannot express how honored I am to have Sue Kreitzman's work in my first exhibition. I look at Sue's work and I am struck by the power of human connection. Never stop reaching out; even when the person seems so very far away. Congratulations on your great success, Sue!!!
Opening day is finally here. I am overwhelmed by the amount of love and support I have received from family and friends and the OOB artists during the long journey toward creating this exhibition. With deep gratitude, I am happy to share the Out of Bounds exhibition catalogue with you!
