VOICES: Artists Perspective 2015
Feels like I've been inside the center of a tornado of creativity lately.
Amos White V, the producer of AFTV, and I were happy to attend the National Association of Women Artists Exhibition, on April 2, 2015. "Voices." NAWA is celebrating its 125th anniversary. Their mission is all about "Empowering, promoting, supporting and encouraging women artists, since 1889." I had the opportunity to meet some of the artists and to hear stories about their works. Members from across the country were in attendance. I was moved by many of the works. The sense of community was palpable. Susan Phillips, Gallery Director, was so very welcoming to me. I love NAWA's enduring mission and feminine legacy. I look forward to featuring NAWA and its artists members on AFTV at the MNN studios in NYC.
