I am on this amazing journey. I've been researching kilns for my own studio. It's time. And that process has turned me into a nomad of sorts. This is how I came to meet Cori of Peace Pottery in Yonkers. Art potters can pay to rent an entire kiln there. I'm told that is a rarity. This option will prove to be much more economical for me, as it also allows me to produce larger works. I am finally able to actualize a sculpture series that I've been dreaming of for the last two years.
Cori is a potter with 20 years experience. Peace Pottery is part of the burgeoning arts revitalization movement in Yonkers. As a member of the Blue Door Arts Center and Gallery Board of Directors, I am looking forward to developing a program that would partner Blue Door Gallery with Peace Pottery Studio. I am loving this path!
